Kevin O’Donnell is an Associate Attorney with the Schooley Law Firm. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Donnell spent almost five years practicing estate planning, corporate law, elder law and fiduciary litigation with two firms located in Central Virginia. He has experience in assisting a variety of clients with their estate planning needs, but particularly enjoys assisting young families with minor children, small business owners, and blended families in creating estate plans that meet their more complex needs.
Mr. O’Donnell earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2013 and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in his course on Corporations. He particularly enjoyed his Wills and Trusts, Gift and Estate Taxes, and Tax Policy courses. He received a B.A. in History, cum laude, from Queens University of Charlotte in 2009. Mr. O’Donnell was also a four-year starter for the Queens University of Charlotte’s men’s varsity soccer team, advancing to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and receiving the Offensive MVP Award for the 2008-09 season.
When he is not at work, Mr. O’Donnell enjoys playing golf, going to concerts, and watching sports (particularly his favorite soccer team, Liverpool F.C). He is married to his wife, Lauren, and they have two dogs, Sophie and Mollie.
